About MYBPD Test

BPD Test is a free educational website that helps adults reflect on patterns and find reputable information. It is not a clinic, crisis service, diagnostic provider, or substitute for professional care.

Understanding What MYBPD Test Can and Cannot Provide

What the site provides

What it does not provide

Checklist methodology

01

Prompt design

The custom checklist contains four prompts in each of five themes: emotional patterns, relationship patterns, sense of self, impulsive reactions, and stress responses. Every prompt uses the same past-three-month timeframe and five-point frequency scale.

02

How summaries are calculated

The browser averages the four responses within each theme and maps that average to a frequency description. Themes are equally represented. The site does not convert the total into a disease probability or clinical threshold.

03

Safety boundary

An optional direct safety question is separate from scoring, storage, and analytics. Crisis support remains visible regardless of answers because a general checklist cannot assess immediate safety.

04

Data boundary

Progress and results are stored in localStorage on the user’s device. Advertising and analytics still load site-wide, but checklist answers, theme summaries, and the safety response are not sent as analytics or ad parameters by the application.

Editorial process

Educational pages prioritize primary public-health and clinical-guideline sources, currently including the U.S. National Institute of Mental Health and NICE. Sources are linked beside the claims they support or in a clearly labeled source section.

We avoid unsupported prevalence or outcome percentages, invented testimonials, professional-review claims without named evidence, and language that presents the checklist as clinical. Material pages display a reviewed date and should be rechecked when guidance or crisis resources change.

No named clinician or medical reviewer is claimed because the project does not currently document one.

Who runs MYBPD Test?
MYBPD Test is run by [company name], based in [city, state]. We are an educational website, not a clinic, crisis service or diagnostic provider.
[Option A: Our content is reviewed by [Name, credentials, license state]. Each page shows when it was last reviewed.] [Option B: Our guides are based on information from NIMH, NAMI and SAMHSA, and each page lists its sources.]
The 20 prompts are written around the themes in the DSM-5 description of borderline personality disorder and worded to be clear and non-judgmental. [Add who wrote them and which sources were used.]
An online self-report can’t account for your history, context or other conditions with overlapping symptoms, so a score would look more certain than it is. We give a plain summary instead and point you to professional help.
[Depends on decision 3. If free with no ads: The site is free and carries no advertising. We never sell your answers.]
